I'm currently spending about $300 a year keeping newbie mixes and voice.tf live (nothing compared to the time and effort others are putting in!), but the Patreon only brings in about $150 a year. If anyone is willing to chip in, I'd be appreciative. Budget is tight, but I won't be turning these services off.

The TF2Stadium.com site has been quietly chugging along, (mostly) functional for the past 6 years or so. We are expecting an influx of users in the next few days, and several of the original devs (and some new friends) are fixing a few things that have broken over time & getting any and all dependencies up to date.

Remember that TF2S is open source! If you want to help please let feel free to take a look under the hood.

In the meantime, if you're playing on a website that appears to be shutting down in a few days forever, consider putting "newlobbysite.com" in your username, so that people know where to go when that happens. do not spam :)

I made newlobbysite.com to bypass that. if center is going down in a couple days, I can't imagine anyone there caring. But I don't expect they will go out of their way to un-blacklist "tf2stadium"

this is for sharing on tf2center and in lobbies, as the phrase "tf2stadium" is blacklisted on that chat last time i checked. we never fought it when center was active because that was a choice they had the power to make

it would be really convenient if there was a handy url that you could send to people wherever (something like newlobbysite.com maybe?) that would forward to tf2stadium. just a thought though. would be a waste of $12 if someone were to do it. i would never.

like pitts said in #23, it's been fairly active in the moments when center has had technical problems/been ddos'd. it is going to be a bit of a push to get it populated, but i don't think it's unreasonable to see it happening.

we had, in my view, a far superior product (better AI, more gamemodes, more community-respected moderation, more streamer functionality, lots of community outreach events, etc.). but in the end, no one wanted to migrate to the new thing when the old thing still worked, had all their stats, and is what they were used to.

can't blame the users for that at all, but if this tf2c shutdown is real, that will no longer be the case

technically, yes the site is up. it has not been touched in years and has no active administration, moderation, or dev team. i will reach out to the old team and see what we need to do to be operational in the next few days, if that is even possible. wish we had more of a heads up.
